Tuition and Discounts
For advanced nursing courses
Nurses, are you interested in advanced nursing courses? Below is some information about the costs of courses, enrollment fees and payment methods.
The programs of the advanced nursing courses are priced according to the teaching modules:
- Common module
- Unique clinical module
In order to move between study modules, you must complete the tuition requirements.
The payment method depends on the educational institution in which you choose to learn.
For students in state nursing schools – the tuition will be paid according to the installment settlement detailed in the Government Payments Website. The first installment constitutes an advanced payment that you must make before the course's beginning date.
For students in non-state nursing schools – the installment settlement and the collection of tuition is the responsibility of the nursing school that operates the program.
Registration fees
Registration fee for an advanced nursing course – 100 NIS
(For every advanced nursing course – both in common modules and in unique clinical modules).
Registration fee for the selection test (from July 2024) – 100 NIS
Payment requirements
You could only take the licensure examination after you have settled all of your debts with regard to both tuition payments and handling fees for the authorization to take the licensure examination and the issuing of a license certificate. All documents and certificates, such as the certificate attesting to your studies, a course graduation diploma, a licensing certificate or any other document attesting to your studies, you could only receive once you have made all of your tuition payments. If you have decided to discontinue the course of your studies, or if your studies discontinued for other reasons, you will pay the relative share of the tuition, until the discontinuation date of your studies. The registration fees cannot be refunded.
Tuition discount
For some of the advanced nursing courses you can receive a discount at a rate of 40%, 50% or 60% of the tuition (depending on the course and year of study). For your information, this discount does not apply for the payments of registration fees, the State Nursing Board Licensing Examination and the licensure certificate.
You can receive the discount on the condition that you meet all of the eligibility criteria below:
- You are a registered nurse who is employed in a state medical institution, in another form of public medical institution or in an HMO, on whose behalf you are being sent to the study program.
- The program in which you study is being funded by the Ministry of Health.
- The nursing administrator in the medical institution in which you work, declares in writing that your employment is planned to involve fields relevant to the program of the advanced nursing course to which you have been sent to study.
- Your study request, alongside the declaration of the nursing administrator, has been approved by the Committee for Tuition Discounts.

Discount application and approval process
- Once you have been admitted to an advanced nursing course, you can file an application for discount.
- Your application, alongside the declaration of the nursing administrator in the public health institution where you are employed, will be forwarded to the Nursing Division through the School Principal up to 10 business days before the beginning date of the study program. Applications submitted after this date will not be reviewed by the Committee.
- Additionally, the School Principal will mark in the practitioners' system that toy have filed an application for discount.
- Your application, alongside the declaration of the nursing administrator in the public health institution where you are employed, will be reviewed by the Committee.
- The Committee's decision will be marked in the practitioners' system and will be communicated to you by text message (SMS).
