You can get an exemption from the selection examination if you meet the following criteria:

The requirements for enrollment in the advanced nursing course selection exam (and the documents you need to submit to enroll) are the same as the conditions for admission to a continuing education program, as detailed here.
Enrollment takes place directly at the institute you choose to take the exam. Enrollment for the selection examination must be completed one month prior to the exam date.
The selection examinations take place twice a year, on dates and at institutions determined by the Nursing Division.
The exam takes two hours and includes 70 multiple choice questions.
The Nursing Division takes very seriously any violation of the the exam code of ethics during the test, starting from the identification stage at the entrance. Any of the following acts will be regarded as a violation:
The Department of Nursing Licensure Exams reserves the right to disqualify and/or to summon an examinee for a hearing before the Nursing Division's Exam Code of Conduct Committee in case of any alleged violation of the exam code of conduct.
A passing score in the selection examination is 70. The score is valid for 3 years from the exam date.
The scores will be sent by SMS and advertised by the Nursing Division on the Healthcare Professionals Portal, where you can:

It is the candidate's responsibility to notify the Nursing Division in case of change to the contact details.

If you received a score of 68 or 69 in the selection examination, you are eligible to file an appeal, according to the government licensure exam appeal procedure.
An appeal can be filed up to 14 days from date of score publication in the Healthcare Professionals Portal.
Additional details, including date of appeal, will be forwarded to eligible applicants.
