About the Licensure Examination Department
The Licensure Examination Department in the Nursing Division works with a view to establishing the fortitude of the nursing manpower array according to the changing needs of the healthcare system in Israel. The department operates an extensive and professional array of licensure exams for the status of registered nurse, practical nurse, nurse practitioners as well as graduate of advanced nursing courses.
The department's staff works with a view to creating a professional and structured procedure for all candidates and examinees, according to their eligibility.

Roles of the Licensure Examination Department
- Processing and responding to prospective examinees' requests.
- Confirming the registration to the examination subject to the protocols and circulars.
- Issuing summons for examinees who meet the criteria.
- Issuing the examinations according to each section.
- Administering the examination in a computer-aided environment and/or simulative environment and/or orally.
- Issuing the scores and publishing them to the examinees.
- Coordinating the examination appeal procedures.
Services and schedule
Notice of appeal of the examination score
Possible up to 30 business days from the date that the examination scores were published on the website.
Release of the licensure examination score
Performed up to 30 business days from the examination date.
Receipt of response for an appeal of examination
Performed up to 45 business days from the date of the appeal.
Issuance of a certificate of score transcript
Performed up to 2 business days from the date of the arrival of the request in our offices.
