
Have you completed a nursing program abroad and would like to practice nursing in Israel? After successfully passing the state licensure examination, you must complete the following steps in order to obtain either a temporary permit or a permanent license.
Requirements for obtaining a temporary permit to practice nursing:
Important: Proof of Hebrew language proficiency may be submitted within three years of the date of the state licensure examination. If proof of Hebrew language proficiency is not submitted within this three-year period, you will be required to retake the licensure examination due to the expiration of the examination results.

Requirements for obtaining a permanent license to practice nursing:
Important: The fee for the permanent license is paid at the time of registration for the state licensure examination. If you were previously issued a temporary permit, you will be required to provide proof of payment in order to receive your permanent license.
