Have you graduated from nursing studies outside of Israel, and you want to have your credentials verified to get an Israeli license?
To secure your place in a State Nursing Board Licensure Examination for registered nurses, check you satisfy all requirements, and start your verification process ahead of time.
Internationally educated nurses who want to enroll for the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse License administered in spring, 7-9.4.2025, must satisfy the requirements below. You cannot proceed to the next requirement without completing the current one by the given deadline.
File an appeal by 5.6.2025
Only examinees with a score of 58 or 59 may file an appeal. It is possible to file for an appeal up to two weeks from the day the scores are released. The appeal procedure is in accordance with the Appeal Procedure (Hebrew) for the Israel State Nursing Board Licensure Examination.
NOTE
If you fail to meet the deadlines, you will not be allowed to enroll for the April 2025 Licensure Examination.
Internationally educated nurses who want to enroll for the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse License administered in autumn, 15-18.9.2025, must satisfy the requirements below. You cannot proceed to the next requirement without completing the current one by the given deadline.
File an appeal by 10.11.2025

The enrollment for the licensure examination is via the Healthcare Professionals Portal.
As of September 2017, eligible exam candidates will receive:
Internationally educated nurses found eligible to take the exam prior to June 2017 and did not sit for the exam in 2017 or 2018 must contact the Ministry of Health Hotline (at *5400) and ask for a username and a password. Double check with the Hotline that the email address and mobile telephone number on record are updated. The username and password will be sent within 24 hours.
Temporary residents: Enroll for the exam if your residence permit is valid on the day of the exam and is found on the Nursing Division's system. In order to update the system, send a photocopy of your I.D. card to siud.test@moh.gov.il.
Candidates who do not have an Israeli I.D. card (passport holders) cannot receive service via the Portal. Contact the Department of Nursing Licensure Exams at siud.test@moh.gov.il or the Ministry of Health Hotline (at *5400) and ask how to enroll.
Retesting
There is no additional requirement for retesting. You are responsible for informing the Nursing Division of any change to your health status or criminal record. Information on how to enroll for retaking a Licensure Examination.
Enrollment for the Licensure Examination via the Portal
First time candidates should do as follows:

At first, sign in with the password you have been given. Replace the password with your own password. Use the username and password to log in to the Portal.

3. Payment
Before enrolling to the Exam, you must pay the Licensure Examination fee. Make a payment over the Postal Bank or make a money transfer to the Health Ministry account. The account information: The Postal Bank, Branch no. 001, Jerusalem, Account no. 0- 025961.
The fee is 387 NIS.
After making the payment, scan or photocopy the proof of payment and keep it to enroll to the Exam via the Portal.
Note
Do not make a payment, if you do not have a confirmation that you are eligible to take the Examination. Without confirmation, you will not be allowed to sit for the Examination, even if you paid.
4. Enrollment for the examination
Examination enrollment via the Portal must be completed up to a month prior to exam date. The Portal closes for enrollment after this date.
5. Requesting extra testing time
Immigrants and temporary residents who have been living in Israel for less than five years will automatically receive extra testing time and are not required to submit a request, according to the Extra Testing Time Regulation. The Licensure Examination Notice specifies whether extra testing time is granted.
6. Licensure Examination Notice
Bring the Notice to the Examination.
You will be able to download the Notice from the portal two weeks prior to Examination date.
The Notice contains information on the examination: location, date, and time, your candidate identification number, the hall where the Examination is administered, and how much extra time is granted to you, if at all. Print out a copy and bring it to the Exam.
