Request Extra Testing Time
Everyone deserves to be tested on equal terms
The Nursing Division accommodates authorized candidates with no more than 25% extra testing time. What are the eligibility criteria, and how to request extra testing time?
If the eligibility criteria below are met, the Nursing Division will give candidates no more than 25% extra testing time for multiple-choice questions examination formats or knowledge examinations that must be answered in writing. The extra testing time eligibility criteria are:
- Automatic eligibility, no request necessary, is granted to:
- New immigrants who have been living in Israel no more than five years
- Temporary residents (as defined by the applicable law) who have been living in Israel no more than five years
- Extra testing time can be requested by candidates with documented learning disabilities, in accordance with the provisions of the Medical Division Circular 15/2021 (Hebrew).
How to request extra testing time
- The extra time request should be submitted through the Healthcare Professionals Portal as part of the examination enrollment. Note that once the enrollment process is completed, it will not be possible to upload any additional files.
- Scan your disability proof and upload it to the portal, as instructed.
- Request approvals are not automatic; they require the approval of the Department of Nursing Licensure Exams.
- If you are granted extra time, it will be mentioned in the examination notice.
Passport holders, who cannot receive services through the Healthcare Professionals Portal, may write to the Department of Nursing Licensure Exams at siud.test@moh.gov.il stating why extra time is requested, and attach supporting documents.
