The transition-to-practice program for registered nurses in Israel is designed to educate immigrants and internationally educated nurses about Israeli nursing practices.
Educational deficiency completion course for registered nurses in Israel
The course is designed to teach nurses about certain practices that are unique to Israel.
The course will be available once your credentials are verified by the Nursing Division. If you pass the online test at the end of the course, you will be eligible to enroll in the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination for registered nurses in Israel. It is an online course; you can complete it independently, on a PC, in one of the six available languages: Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian, French, or Spanish. For each language, you can also find a short user guide.
More about the course
The course includes an overview of the healthcare system in Israel, the most relevant laws, the legal status, and the professional standards of a registered nurse in Israel.
To view the course, use (preferably) Internet Explorer or Chrome.
- Enter the username and password provided to you in the notice from the Nursing Division. These details are personal and non-transferable.
- Open the course and study on your own; after you complete studying, log in and take the test.
The test
- Take the online test after completing the study material; the test has 25 multiple-choice questions about the study material.
You may review the study material and retake the test multiple times.
Receiving a passing score and confirming your eligibility for the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination
The course score will be automatically transmitted to the Department of Nursing Licensure Exams. A few days after receiving a passing score, you will get a notice to take the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination. Only after receiving the notice will registration for the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination be enabled.
NOTE
If, at any stage during the evaluation process or thereafter, there is any indication that the documents are inaccurate or contain false information, your application will be denied.
