Senior Staff Sergeant Major (Res) Alon Weis, 49 years old, was an educator and volunteered as a combat soldier in the 129th Battalion, 8th division of the Armored Brigade. Elon was killed in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip on 15.6.2024.

He left behind seven children and one granddaughter.
