Evaluation of credentials of internationally educated nurses

In 2021, my family and I immigrated to Israel in the MASA – Doctors License program, because my husband is a doctor. In July 2022, I participated in a Zoom meeting organized by the Ministry of Absorption and the Nursing Division for immigrants regarding the hiring process for nurses in Israel. In August 2022, I was scheduled for an interview at the nursing administration with Mila Guillotin, who is in charge of the recognition process for nurses graduated abroad, and on that day, I submitted all the necessary documents, the whole process took about a month.

In September 2022, I took the licensure Exam and passed it successfully. I haven't started working yet because I'm still learning Hebrew and hope to pass the Hebrew proficiency test soon.

Most helpful in the process

The help and support of the Nursing Division employee responsible for internationally educated nurses. She accompanied me at every step during the process.

Best advice I have for internationally educated nurses

Faith and hope.

My professional aspiration

Get to know the healthcare system in Israel and start working as a nurse.
