There are multiple nursing programs, choose the ones that best suits you:
It is a baccalaureate program where you get a nursing degree and a registered nurse certificate. It is a four-year program offered at universities and colleges throughout Israel. Once you graduate, and pass the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a registered nurse certificate. More on the BSN program
If you already have an academic degree, you can retrain for BSN degree. It is a baccalaureate program where you get a nursing degree and a registered nurse certificate. Retraining lasts two years and a half at universities and colleges across Israel. Once you graduate, and pass the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a registered nurse certificate.

Pisga is an Israeli Defense Forces academic reserve program that allows you to graduate after three years of study, instead of four. Graduates start their military service as a nurse or other functions of the medical corps. More on Pisgah, the academic reserve program for a BSN degree
New – a training program for a BSN in collaboration with the National Service Authority and the Tel Aviv University Department of Nursing. The 4-year program combines academic studies with national service. The program includes theoretical and practical studies in nursing and related areas as well as preparing for the registered nurse licensure exam.
Holders of an academic degree can be retrained to get a registered nurse certificate. The program includes core studies, lasts about two and half years at all nursing schools in Israel. The nursing program you choose must be accredited by the Nursing Board of the State of Israel. When you graduate, you should pass the State Nursing Board Licensure Examination to be listed on the Nursing Licensure Registry to be allowed to work as a nurse in Israel.

The Ministry of Health approves what the core studies are, consisting of four categories:
These include studies on the healthcare system in Israel, healthcare disparities and inequality, genetics, embryology, and personalized medicine, clinical pharmacology, and more.
These include studies on clinical decision–making models, evidence–based practice, safety and risk management, effective communication skills, compassion and empathy, clinical skills and therapeutic interventions, the nurse as a care executive, technological innovation, and digital leadership.
Includes clinical competence: community health promotion, disease prevention in a variety of populations, internal and surgical care of older adults, nursing of women in the obstetrics and gynecology departments, and more.
This part of the program brings together all previous studies after completing all courses mentioned above. You will gain experience in advanced clinical care. See the Nursing Division Circular regarding core studies.
As licensed nurses, you can work in various healthcare centers at hospitals or in the community, engage in care or research, and even work, study, and take care of your family.
In the clinical practice program, you can specialize in midwifery, geriatric care, intensive care, preterm births, and more. Later, you can study for advanced clinical care in various areas, depending on the program you choose and the requisites. Surgery, diabetes, geriatric nursing, preterm births, and other areas of specialization open on demand.
If you choose an administrative program, you can work as a clinical coordinator, clinical instructor, nursing team leader, or oversee patient care services in hospital wards, or nursing homes, etc.
You can study for a Master's degree in nursing or become a Doctor of Nursing Practice. More information on the academic career program.
