Nursing Licensure

ow to get your Nursing Division credentials starting from Israel State Nursing Board Licensure Exam to entry into the Nursing Care Licensure Registry.
To be allowed to practice nursing care in the State of Israel, you must get the appropriate credentials from the Nursing Division of the Israeli Ministry of Health and be listed on the Nursing Care Licensure Registry. The Registry records all nurses that have a license to practice nursing; only those registered may practice nursing care. The Registry contains a nurse's personal information, credentials, license number, etc.
The licensure exam and a registry record are required by the Public Health Protection Regulations (Clinic Nursing Staff) 1981 (Hebrew) and the Public Health Protection Regulations (Hospital Nursing Practitioners) 1988 (Hebrew).
Would you like to join Israel's Nursing Care Licensure Registry?
International nursing graduates of an accredited institution that pass the state nursing board licensure exam can join the Nursing Care Licensure Registry, if they meet the following requirements:
- They are Israeli citizens or residents 18 years of age or older
- They are adequately proficient in the Hebrew language
- They do not have a criminal record
- Their medical condition lets them practice nursing
