Eldad Nidam, a nurse in the General Intensive Care Unit in Assuta Ashdod Hospital, left his home Saturday morning 7.10.23. After a short drive in the city of Ashdod, he was asked by a soldier for help to treat the wounded in the street.

Eldad treated a severely injured soldier. Treatment included stopping the bleeding, treating vital organs and helping with intubation until the soldier was evacuated by an MDA team by ambulance.

Eldad then began treating an elderly woman by applying a pressure bandage on a bleeding wound on her leg, driving the woman in his own private vehicle to the MDA station for further care.
