Neonatal nurse practitioners deal with providing medical treatment to premature babies, including providing immediate response to the needs of routine care for premature babies, locating and identifying abnormalities and providing immediate primary care in acute and life-threatening situations, providing medical treatment to premature babies in a variety of complex situations, consulting and guiding the premature baby's family and the staff in the ward.
