Under the copyright laws in effect in Israel, and under international conventions, the copyrights in the Ministry’s publications, including those published through this service, belong to the State of Israel.
These copyrights apply, among other things, to text, images, illustrations, maps, audio clips, video clips, graphics, and software applications (hereinafter: the “Protected Material”), unless it is expressly stated that the copyrights in the Protected Material belong to another party.
The user is permitted to make “fair use” of the Protected Material, in accordance with applicable law. Fair use includes reasonable quotation from the Protected Material.
Anyone quoting the Protected Material must cite the source of the quotation, whether the Ministry or another party.
The user is prohibited from distorting, mutilating, or otherwise altering the Protected Material, or from performing any act that diminishes its value, in a manner that may harm the honor or reputation of the copyright holder.
Subject to copyright law, the user may not copy, redistribute, rebroadcast, or publish Protected Material without the Ministry’s prior written consent.

Liability
The service is provided to the public “as is.” The State of Israel bears no responsibility for the service meeting the user’s needs. In addition, the State of Israel is not liable for any mistakes or errors in the material presented as part of the service. The State of Israel is also not liable for any changes made to the material by the user or by any third party.
The user alone is responsible for the manner in which the service is used. The State of Israel shall not be liable for any damage caused to the user or to any third party, whether direct or indirect, as a result of using the service, including damage caused by the use of software applications downloaded directly through the service or operated as a result of using the service, including ActiveX, JavaScript, and Java applications.
For the purposes of this section, “the State of Israel” includes its employees and representatives.
Translations
Pages on the Ministry of Health website are translated into several foreign languages, and the website team provides these translations as a service to the general public. The translations aim to be as accurate and faithful to the Hebrew original as possible; however, we recognize that translations may be inaccurate, unclear, or incomplete compared to the Hebrew version.
