To be There for Patients on Special Moments
Keren found herself at the age of 40 at a crossroads: should she continue as a human resources officer or change direction. She decided to study nursing to fulfill her dream of becoming a midwife.
Just before turning 40, I faced a significant crossroads: should I continue in the army as a human resources officer or change direction. It was clear to me and to those around me that now is my time. I realized that I wanted to be a midwife and that I would do whatever it took to get there.
To me, being a nurse is a great responsibility and a constant interaction in relationships of many shades, which allows to be in a place that gives, contains, provides knowledge and security for the other.
Today, I am a registered nurse. I will tell you about the period of study that, although it was a very intense period – alongside a family with four children, I found a lot of interest in studies, I was exposed to extensive, diverse and challenging knowledge that opened before me a whole world.
The wide range of fields offered as a career in nursing and the advanced nursing courses allow you to specialize in different types of work, so that there is always somewhere to move to and advance, grow and develop.
