What brought you to nursing?

Before getting started with school, I was weighing the pros and cons of various therapeutic professions. I chose nursing because it is a profession that combines the scientific aspect and the emotional, social and cultural aspects that influence it. This combination in one therapeutic profession is unique, and allows me as a nurse to express my skills in the various fields, thereby increasing my feeling of satisfaction from the profession.

I studied nursing in Tel-Aviv University and in Ziva Tal Academic Nursing School in Tel HaShomer. The study period was challenging and empowering. I have acquired extensive knowledge and practical skills that shaped me and prepared me ahead of practicing my profession as a nurse. I have met good friends became an integral part of the learning experience, as well as many practitioners in this field who have reinforced my feeling that I have chosen the right profession.

Where are you today?

Due to my love for the profession and my desire to expand my knowledge and contribute in additional ways – I chose to specialize in a field where I can study and promote public health, and today I am a master's student in public health in Tel-Aviv University. Concurrently, I have just begun my work as a new nurse in the surgical department in Assuta Hospital.
