What Brought You to Nursing?

During high school, I got involved in the field of medicine and knew that I would also like to practice it in the army. I heard about "Pisga" Reserve Route and chose to try it. I remember that every weekend, and especially during the clinical experiences, I told my parents what I learned and what I was doing and they were so proud – and in fact, I fell in love with the profession and the work.

After completing my degree in 2017, I enlisted in the 195th Battalion (the training Battalion of the Armored Corps) as part of the "Battalion Nurse" pilot whose goal was to introduce nurses to the battalions and improve the quality and availability of routine medical services in the battalion.

After a year in the battalion, I went to an officer's course and was then assigned to the position of Etzion Regional Brigade Organization Officer

I told my parents what I learned and what I was doing and they were so proud – and in fact, I fell in love with the profession and the work.

Where Are You Today?

Today I am Etzion Regional Brigade Organization Officer.

In my current position, I am involved in many areas, including mental health, public health, emergency medicine, training forces for night operations, and more, and serve as a deputy of the divisional medical officer.

As an officer of a medical organization and a nurse, I took on the field of improving routine medicine among medics, by conducting training in the field of anamnesis, representative cases, identification, and rapid treatment.
