The advanced course in the field of psychotherapy using the behavioral treatment method, the CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Treatment) is designed to give tools and knowledge for the purpose of providing treatment based on the method.
The study program in Cognitive Treatment Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) will give you knowledge and tools to apply the method for the treatment of patients suffering from a variety of disorders and other emotional struggles.
The program includes learning about common disorders, the theories and applied tools in the process. You will receive tools to identify the factors responsible for emotional difficulties, maladaptive behaviors or functional impairment. You will know to identify thinking patterns, memories, perceptions and subjective interpretations related to the program. You will learn cognitive skills to change individual experiences and design thinking patterns that strengthen effective copping.
You will also combine practices based on behavioral therapy, for the purpose of exposing the patient to gradually dealing with his difficulties and adopting a different approach to the identified threatening factors.
In the clinical experience, you can apply the theoretical studies in this treatment method through individual and group therapy, under professional guidance.
The curriculum includes 450 hours, of which:
250 theoretical hours.
200 clinical experience hours.
