Looking for a significant army service? be introduced to Pisgah. An academic reserve track that provides professional development, and challenge during the service as nurses, in the Medical Corps
Pisgah track is an academic reserve study track for those who dream of being a nurse during their military service.
The track includes bachelor’s degree studies and qualification certificate as a nurse, as well as a job for life, with personal and professional development and a real challenge. The army service allows nurses to join key roles in the Medical Force and instills administrative, as well as professional expertise.
The track includes:
- Nursing studies in 3 designated classes in the north, the south, and the center of Israel (Tel Aviv University, Haifa University, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
- A shortened curriculum of 3 years instead of 4, including theoretical studies and diverse clinical practice
- Bachelor’s degree and registered nurse certificate
- Administrative/command and professional development
- A shortened service of a year and a half in career service
Those who successfully complete the track are allocated to a variety of positions on the field and on the home front, such as battalions, divisional training bases, primary care clinics, specialist medicine, etc. and work according to an extended scope of authority.
