The Center promotes leaders in nursing worldwide
By exchanging knowledge, offering advice, conducting research, and providing training at the international, domestic, and corporate levels, we enable leaders in health care.
In 2020, the Nursing Administration at the Ministry of Health was recognized by the World Health Organization as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Leadership and Governance in Nursing. The Center's vision is empowering leaders in nursing in the WHO member states.

In July 2023, the Israel Ministry of Health was pleased to nominate Dr. Shoshy Goldberg as the national focal point (NFP) for nursing and midwifery for SEEHN - the South Eastern Europe Health Network.

Dear Nurses,
I am excited to announce the World Health Organization's announcement of the Nursing Administration in Israel as a center for international cooperation for leadership governance in nursing: Who Collaborative Centre for Leadership and Governance in Nursing.
For the first time in its history, the World Health Organization recognized the nursing leadership in the Ministry of Health as a center for international cooperation. This one of the highest international professional recognition and evaluations awarded to the nursing system for leadership, clinical professionalism and a significant contribution to the health system. In addition, global recognition of nursing leadership in Israel due to the expertise and professionalism of all the nurses in the country.
In recent years, we have been working tirelessly out of a tremendous mission to empower nurses in Israel to fulfill their ambition to reach their personal and professional potential, to strengthen their independence and their professional contribution to the treatment process, to develop new roles and to strengthen professional training and competence. We see many faces for our labor now also in the level of international recognition for the nursing profession in Israel.
As a center for international cooperation, the Nursing Administration will share the expertise and professional knowledge of nursing in Israel with many countries around the world as needed.

Exciting news for the nursing community
We are excited to announce the opening of the course: "Nursing Regulatory Standards | Empowering Nursing Human Resources". The course is a transformative learning experience guided by the Nursing Administration. Professionals from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Servia, Turkey and Malta participate in this thorough program. Together we design the future of nursing by developing international collaborations in the digital age.
